nick's back!

last night we all crashed at nick's for his homecoming. it was grabes, mike, stubbs, ant, tony, katie r, kurz, tom and amanda. i was tired but had fun. read spin magazine's list issue. crashing with friends says that sometimes not having anything better to do (equivalent=picking four-leaf clovers out in right field) isn't so bad, as long as you're with the guys (girlfriends can come, too).

cemetery day 5

i was "tuckered out" by the end of the day. spun faster than lonnie mowed the sections. on my feet all day i thought of some cemetery vocab i never use: i never call the riding mowers tractors, and i can start calling weedwhacking trimming or hedging the stones, haha this reminds me of the first time i said "hello" in the 4th-grade a long-time ago. umm, lonnie and ryan got into it at lunch; kicked lonnie's diet lemonade back and forth after it fell out of the fridge. ant laughed hysterically, and then lonnie opened a pop can tab spraying it at ryan. lonnie shrugs things off really well when he's not moping about things. today was zach deArmond's first day, he's a good guy, was a grade up on me at central; ashley's brother. at rice he did a row of a section and got it handed to him by ryan and them for that lol. i found a toad before i whacked him today thankfully. jerry was trying to string a spinner and i was stringing mine too and he asked if, "gowdy you know how to string that thing?" and i asked him the same and proposed that he could help us out by using the push-mower between rows where lonnie couldn't reach from the tractor. he flung the tangled green wire he had been fumbling with onto the propped up spinner on the whitewashed-graffiti'd table and went in for the mower, ha. i also got to drive the gravedigger's car from prairie street to rice - tony joked that it took him 26 yrs to get to be a gravedigger. everyone's excited about hotdog thursday yep that's right i'm bringing in hotdogs like last summer. also, dave snell is louie's uncle so he'll be surprised when louie finally comes out for work i hope he does he has my wallet in his car dammit! end of today sat out with the part-timers at the picnic table and

miscellaneous

this forthcoming weekend ant'll hopefully have a camp-out in his backyard, with TENTS and b**r! and this past weekend i thought it funny that mike kurz and thomas got drunk on thomas' gparents' 30-yr-old whiskey. nope it wasn't drank on a special occasion but a nothing-to-do-night-in with the boys, hahhahaha!! tony's learned that egginks get free beer from the liquor beer - they have a running tab and it's a trade for work. wow, only the egginks would pull that off! labor for liquor.

i went to track practice at central after work and ran with coach homo's distance guys, jim kyle ryan and weibe. i missed their all-out mile and then a half-mile and still couldn't see straight after sprinting eight 100s. they are in great shape they need to run like they are. did a cool-down with brent because i got there too late for his workout and talked with damien, ben strycker, hooven, and coach kurth said he misses my mom (and the area's stats she kept for him). and coach baker i don't know what i'd do if i never had him. he is a best friend, he's like 53, i don't get that! i was soooo tired too tired to even go on a run with lauren after practice because she had to run because her team didn't have practice because of the boys meet going on.
