H4PPY M07H3R'5 D4Y!!

Pops popped in the door at 10 last night, we loaded my stuff and had stroms at mother bear's in the middle of the night and then were on the road to elkhart till 5:30 this morning. i slept in, did mostly nothing, went for a run in the thunderstorm, had dinner with the fam and over ice cream got my birthday present that everyone in my extended family chipped in for - an ipod! IT'S FUCKING AMAZING I GOT AN IPOD! set up the comp talked to louie and just now nathan g came over and tuned the ol' guitar. that's where the night is at.

so i guess we're all at the cemetery this summer - stubbs, ant, louie and randall monger, too, haha.

update @ 2:01 a.m.

so went for a walk in graber's and mikey's neighborhood tonight and sat on nathan's porch for awhile. dude has some cool bumper stickers - "re-elect gore-leiberman 2004." he is going to goshen college with many other central alumn which is nifty and we had a good night. saw jolgren and derek drews. kristi called nathan. turns out she called stubbs's cell earlier thinking it was mine (because it was my away message the other day) but it was still a good one (i give all the girls that number ;p) and so him, kristi, charlotte and erin and two hot sophomores (heh, charlott's sis and friend) did a whole lot of nothing tonight, besides being kicked out of hacienda because of cinco de mayo celebrators. louie went to a campfire shootin' the shit kinda thing in goshen - we gotta hang. meredith and tony swept each other away. ant and katie r hung out. felipe saw a movie i guess. i went for a walk with the boys.

my itunes says that i have exactly 895 albums uploaded...time to put a few of those on the ol' ipod WOO!!

update @ 3:27 p.m. mother's day

i am eating a grapple - engineered apple to have a grape taste to it, and eating it my fingers smell grapish; i'm eating mutant fruit! i am also burning 20 years of choir cds for gpa's choir accompanist ethel kamps - gma's friend. just read about The O' Franken Factor radio show in rolling stone hahaha i'm in love. my train of listening has gone from the eels to sleater-kinney to the new pornographers.

so i got A's in folklore and latinos, A- in creative writing, B in journalism, and somehow i dont know how i pulled an A- in psychology! WOO!

tonight is a gowdy / oyer mother's day party + elizabeth's bday party. then late i'm going to try to join the egginks for uncle paul's bday.
